Oprah Winfrey and Prince Harry join forces to talk about mental health on Apple TV+
“The me you don’t see” launched by Oprah Winfrey and Prince Harry, is the series about mental health and had its premiere on Apple TV+.
The 6 episode series is an honest discussion between Oprah and Prince Harry about emotional well-being and mental health while opening up their own mental health struggles and journeys. The show was created to help all of us recognise the trauma in ourselves and others and overcome the stigma associated with it.
The show is surrounded by Harry’s memories about his childhood, his Mother’s funeral, the sound of the horses’ hooves and every time Princess Diana was driving him and his brother William away from paparazzi as fast as she could.
“The Me You Can’t See” also shows the stories of other people’s struggles with anxiety an depression and among them we can see the singer Lady Gaga, celebrity chef Rashad Armstead and boxer Ginny Fuchs. Even Oprah is sharing mental health journey interviewed by Harry, her early days struggles and helplessness she was feeling as a young girl.
The series is definitely worth seeing, as the past year has been particularly difficult for everyone. We are all grieving for something we’ve lost and “The Me You Can’t See” shows that we are not alone.
