We know you guys don’t need another reason to love Zara, but behold, we have one anyway. “Shape the Invisible”, it’s Zara latest project, according to it’s website and Instagram.  The retailer explains: “With recycling as the initial idea, Zara gave the schools” — which include The Royal Academy of Antwerp, Parsons School in New York, EnsAD in Paris, and Kingston University in London — “clothing from previous seasons, with which the students then created new garments adding their own design and vision.” According to this, it doesn’t seem like these pieces will be available for purchase – bummer! but we can’t deny it’s nice to see Zara working with aspiring designers on an initiative that promotes sustainability in fashion. Como a Zara explica: “Com a reciclagem como ideia inicial, a Zara deu às escolas” – que incluem The Royal Academy of Anvers, Parsons School em Nova York, Ensad em Paris e Kingston University em Londres – “roupas de anteriores temporadas, com as quais os alunos criaram novas peças de roupa criando o seu próprio design e visão “. Pelo que parece, estas peças não estarão disponíveis para compra – mas que balde de água fria! No entanto não podemos negar que é bom ver a Zara a trabalhar com futuros designers numa iniciativa que promove a sustentabilidade na moda.
