Apparently the designer Adam Selman in collaborations with Australian eyewear brand Le specs reinvented “the sunglasses wheel”. That’s right! The killer pair of extreme cat-eye sunglasses with a futuristic aesthetic, called The Last Lolita (even the name is to cool to handle) are a standout success and they can be spotted everywhere, from Rihanna to Zoë Kravitz and Gigi Hadid. Ok, maybe Gigi Hadid has given a help in the sale of these frames, because when Gigi Instagrammed a picture of herself wearing the Last Lolita frames, (Hadid had received one of 100 pairs of Lolita’s that the brand had set aside for gifting, but was not paid to endorse the product) the picture garnered over 1.6 million likes, and Le Specs sold out of all its inventory — over 1,000 pieces — overnight. How crazy is that?
So if you want to look like a glamorous futuristic Marilyn Monroe, you definitely must bet in these Lolita frames.
