There is no person in the fashion world, who wouldn’t know Chiara Ferragni. This incredible Italian mega-influencer had a premiere of the documentary about her life and career named “Chiara Ferragni – Unposted” last year.
“Chiara Ferragni – Unposted” shows the vulnerable, yet powerful Italian girl, who also has her fears, who’s also struggling to stay fully in the present, who gets scared. She is smart, she is beautiful and she is unstoppable. She is all that.
The film was directed by Elisa Amorusa and shows Chiara’s private life and her professional journey to where she is now. A range of personalities from the high fashion world, such as Donatella Versace, Maria Grazia Chiuri, Alberta Feratti or Diane von Furstenberg are appearing in the documentary.
In the documentary, Chiara talks about how she could hear people talking about her at her first fashion events, how she encountered her very first haters. She shows that she can be and she is a business woman, who’s still in control of everything that is happening around her.
The movie also shows lots of moments from Ferragni’s personal life. At the beginning we can see a childhood footage of Chiara and her sisters when they were very little with their parents. The influencer shares how difficult was for her to go through her parents divorce. We can also see a scene where Chiara is fitting her Dior dress before the wedding with Fedez. In the documentary, Ferragni talks about her pregnancy issues and the support she received from her followers.
The documentary is an hour-and-a-half-long exercise, which shows a women who’s in control, who’s performing her life for a public audience, while still maintaining its privacy. The film definitely leaves us with a deeper admiration for Chiara and everything she has accomplished. Her ability to embrace all sides of herself, dealing with criticism and societal norms.
