J. Lo Closes Versace’s show creating the most talked moment from Milan Fashion week 2019

During Milan fashion week, Jennifer Lopez closed the Versace show wearing a remake of the iconic dress she wore almost twenty years ago at the 2000 Grammys.

So to celebrate the anniversary of the moment, Google partnered with the Italian fashion designer to recreate the dress — and show off many of its products in the process.

At the end of the show, a Google image search field flashed on a screen with the command, “Okay Google, show me the Versace jungle dress,” followed by images of the original look from 2000. Then, in a moment that built up anticipation in the best way possible, Donatella asked, “Okay Google, show me the real Versace jungle dress,” and J. Lo herself appeared, bringing internet history to life. The company’s VR painting app, Tilt Brush, also helped decorate the runway space with digital artwork inspired by the new print.

And this is how you close a show, fashion and technology together creating an iconic moment!
