The Politician – Series 2

The Politician has return to Netflix. Season 2 will see things pick up right where season 1 left off, with college student Payton Hobart (Ben Platt) ready to fight to unseat Senate Majority Leader Dede Standish (judith Light) in the New York State Senate race. Dede’s re-election was supposed to be easy, at least was what she and her no-nonsense chief of staff, Hadassah Gold (Bette Midler) thought, but Payton and his team will do whatever it takes in order to succeed, even if that means exposing secrets, lies, and a throuple. Meanwhile, his mother Georgina (Gwyneth Paltrow) is also back as a divorcée-turned-activist-turned-politician and represents the candidate that can say and do whatever nutty thing she wants without losing support, but always dressed in the most amazing outfits as we used to see in the first season 😉
