The world is in crisis now, as on Thursday 24 of February 2022 Russia has invaded Ukraine. We are all heartbroken as the number of casualties and destructions worsens. Thousands of people left Ukraine, in order to find an asylum in the neighbour countries, however many of Ukrainians are still in the war zone, hiding in shelters from bomb attacks from the Russian army. How can we help Ukraine?

One of the first steps is to stay informed about the conflict, share information with your friends, but also make sure the news come from real sources. Another step is to donate money. Lots of international organisations are currently working in the Ukraine, such as UNICEF, International Rescue Committee, UN Refugee Agency and many others.

In support, CHIC has already made a financial contribution and also donated medical supplies and higiene items to local organisations that are playing a vital role in these sad times.

1.Voices of Children is an Ukraine-based aid organisation that helps children recover from psychological trauma or war. It also provides financial support to families who have experienced war.

3. United Help Ukraine is an organisation that distributes food and supplies to internally displaced people in the country.

4. The Ukrainian Red Cross is an organisation that provides different kind of humanitarian help for people, also takes care of training doctors and providing the supply packages.

5. Vostok SOS is a charity that provides an immediate evacuation support for Ukrainian people looking to flee their homes and also maintains a hotline for people in need.

6. Revived Soldier Ukraine is a charity that ensures that medical supplies and medication is provided for army hospital on the front line.
