Marie Antoinette from Sofia Cappola meets Gossip Girl in the new Netflix series”Bridgerton”. Inspired by the bestseller novels by Julia Quinn, created by Chris Van Dusen and produced by Shonda Rhimes, this aspirational fantasy follows Daphne Bridgerton, the eldest daughter of the powerful Bridgerton family, as she makes the preparations for the social season and her debut onto Regency London’s competitive marriage market.

Bridgerton, has become really popular among Netflix viewers over the last weeks not only because of the incredible plot combined with lots of romance / sex scenes (just wait to see the dashing Regé-Jean Page) and delicious nuggets of gossip who left all the fans hungry for more, but also because of the modern twist that gives us something old with something new, and adds a delicious and refreshing handful of inclusivity.

The series, with an amazing cast is definitely worth watching, which is also proved by the numbers. On the January 4, 2021, Netflix announced that it was 5th most watched Netflix original series, watched y 63 million households.
