House of Gucci – true story of the family behind the Italian fashion empire

The long-awaited biographical crime drama “House of Gucci” is here! Based on the 2001 book “The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed” by Sara Gay Forden and directed by Ridley Scott, the film tells the shocking story of the members of the Gucci family and their struggle to control the Italian fashion brand.

The “House of Gucci” puts the spotlight on Patrizia Reggiani (Lady Gaga) – an outsider from a more humble background that marries into the Gucci family. Her idyllic romance and marriage with Maurizio Gucci (Adam Driver) quickly turns into a brutal fight about the power over the fashion house.

The movie presents the incredible performance of the talented Lady Gaga, who plays unbridledly ambitious Patricia Reggiani. Along Gaga, the film presents other accomplished Hollywood stars, such as Al Pacino (Aldo Gucci), Jared Leto (Paolo Gucci), Salma Hayek (Pina Auriemma) and Adam Driver (Maurizio Gucci).

Except the unpredictable plot, the “House of Gucci” couldn’t be missing some spectacular costumes. The movie is a great watch for everyone and will be definitely appreciated by all the fashion lovers and fans of the sophisticated Italian style.
